I Need a Vacation

The news that E.U. plans to bar most U.S. travelers when they reopen hit me like a ton of bricks. I look forward to my yearly vacation. Aside from the global pandemic, I still had hoped to travel abroad. It was encouraging to see how many countries in the E.U. were fast approaching a positive overcome of the virus. I thought maybe the U.S. would follow in the E.U.’s footsteps, seeing how many eradicated the virus. Unfortunately, that is not the case.

I hope it’s Not Too Long

While some of us North Americans take precautionary measures of staying home, social distancing, and wearing masks when in public; others seem bothered by it. Most of the rest of the world complied and are getting back on track to reopening their countries. It looks like the U.S. will take longer to recover. I hope it’ll happen sooner than later. Although I know that this too shall pass.
